Sidra Afzal
I am a Spiritual Counselor, Islamic Psychology Practitioner, and Positive Psychology Life Coach and Developmental. Psychologist dedicated to guiding others toward heart-centered growth and healing. My work integrates healing from the Qur’an and Sunnah with insights from psychology, helping individuals cultivate emotional, mental, and spiritual balance.
In addition to counseling work, I serve as an Islamic Educator at YMJ Institute, where i teaches courses on heart and soul purification. i am also contributes to Message Magazine, sharing reflections on the intersection of faith, psychology, and personal growth.
In my free time i love to paint, read, play with my boys, cats and go to the beach.
Counseling Philosophy
My counseling philosophy is grounded in compassion, spiritual reconnection, and holistic, heart-centered healing. I believe every person carries within them an innate goodness — a fitrah, a pure essence that longs to return to balance and connection. My role as a counselor is not to fix or judge, but to gently hold space for healing, helping clients reconnect with their inner truth, their bodies, and the Divine source of peace within using Quran and Sunnah-inspired therapeutic frameworks.
I approach each individual with deep respect and tenderness, creating a therapeutic space where safety, authenticity, and empathy allow transformation to unfold naturally. Guided by a holistic lens, I integrate emotional, spiritual, and psychological dimensions of wellness, recognizing that true healing happens when the heart is seen, softened, and restored to alignment. My practice is rooted in the belief that healing is not a destination but a sacred journey — one that blossoms through compassion, presence, and sincere care.
